Glossary of Islamic Terms in the Light of the Risale-i Nur is prepared to help with understanding the English-language translations of the Risale-i Nur, a remarkable twentieth-century Qur’anic commentary by Bediuzzaman Said Nursi (1878-1960), and can also serves as a glossary of Islamic terms more broadly.

While the interface, definitions, and quotes of the glossary are in English, the app offers search functions in English, Arabic, and Turkish. The definitions and quotes of the glossary are intended to convey both the technical meaning of each entry in the Islamic tradition and Nursi’s specific insights on that concept.
