Delta Legacy reintroduces the melonDS 0.9.1 core to Delta, restoring classic Nintendo DS emulation and enabling you to import old melonDS save states and continue playing from where you left off.

It includes broad controller support (Nintendo Switch Pro/Joy-Cons, Nintendo Online controllers, PS4/PS5, Xbox One S/X, MFi, keyboards), save states with pause-menu access, locking, automatic backups, and quick saves. It also adds cheats, customizable controller skins, a hold button, fast-forward, and 3D/Haptic Touch features, plus automatic game artwork and shortcuts for recently played games. Note: Delta Legacy is not affiliated with Nintendo.

Recent reviews

Delta Legacy is great for playing old save files, but its DS emulation is missing features available in the standard Delta app. Even when you link the BIOS and firmware files, the menu only shows 'core info'—there is no toggle to 'Boot Firmware Directly' to see the nostalgic DS startup screen and hear the chime before a game begins.Please update this version to include the modern WFC Server dropdown menu (with Wiimmfi and Wiilink presets). Modern routers with built-in firewalls like Xfinity block manual DNS setups completely, causing 52100 errors. Adding these automated emulation features would make this app perfect. Please update the settings layout!
