Dumb Phone (dp)

Thought this would disable access to my other apps and appear like the mockup in the first screen, but it actually is just a widget. Not as helpful as I hoped it would be.

Not transparent. I did everything with this app and had my phone completely set up and changed after a couple of days and pay wall popped up and I can’t access my apps unless I pay $10/mo. Don’t waste your time!

I like this app in theory. It's a good idea, though executed to probably a three star degree. It's ugly and clunky but NOT in a way that works towards getting you off your phone. It just makes doing the things you 100% have to do on your phone annoying, with the side effect of, again, being exceedingly ugly. My real problem with this app is that it misrepresents itself in the specific way that has become so common in our oversaturated world. It presents the basic functions of the app as FREE not a FREE TRIAL. And yet, around a week after install, becomes completely unusable without the premium version. If you are in the mood for paying $25 for a lifetime subscription to a genuinely mediocre at best product, sure. This app is fine. Otherwise, just delete useless apps and put your phone in monochrome. Thats going to do you 50x better than this app that purposefully misrepresents itself as an app "for you" and "to help you" when it's so clearly just another money grab at people desperate to reclaim their lives.
