Kyodo: Communities & Chat

I actually enjoy this app alot. It is only a suggestional thing, but this app should totally have availability to use on computer through using it's website so I am able to chat that way. 💔💔💔 But overall doing a great job.

The longer I spent on the app, the more became apparent. Some things are hard to ignore once you start paying attention. It also seems like parts of the staff team are biased and there have been enough conversations and interactions to raise concerns about how staff from other communities and circles are spoken about which is negatively by the app team. The reporting system is another major issue. Users are constantly encouraged to report problems yet reports can seemingly sit for months while the team insists everything is reviewed. Yet repeat offenders continue using the platform without any noticeable action being taken making the reporting system feel pointless. Being a newer app doesn’t excuse poor moderation or inconsistent enforcement. The platform has potential, but it’s being held back by a team that appears more focused on selective enforcement than creating a fair environment. Until those issues are addressed, it’s difficult to recommend it.
