People come to Lisbon for three things: history, atmosphere, and adventure. We've combined all of these for you in a unique "Live History" format that blends an audio play, a quest, and a tour. You will not only visit memorable places in Lisbon and learn fascinating historical facts, but you will also live through these events as a participant and the main character.

For one hour, you will become a 15th-century Spanish sailor, a comrade of Columbus, and a spy for Queen Isabella of Castile, who has arrived in Lisbon to join Vasco da Gama's expedition to India. You will be at the center of events. It’s like you’ve become a star – the hero of a historical movie or series. You will experience many plot twists, encounter the most vivid characters of that heroic era, visit key sites in Lisbon, and even taste a traditional drink. Your decisions and actions will drive the story. Without your participation, Vasco da Gama wouldn’t set out on his great voyage.
