When I first got them, they easily paired to the app and controlled well. Then after I updated the app, they no longer stay connected and have to be deleted and re-added every time I want to use them. Super annoying. It’s been multiple updates since then, and no fix. Would be a 5 star if it simply paired and stayed paired like it used to.

I bought BrizLabs string lights a couple months ago, and at first they worked great and could connect to Alexa. However, there seems to be some kind of update every couple weeks that messes with the connection, requires me to reset the lights to repair, and requires me to disconnect and reconnect to Alexa (which is extremely confusing to do btw because the app just says “already paired” with Alexa when it clearly doesn’t work. And now, after whatever most recent update they pushed, my lights have disconnected again and now are unable to repair with my device. The lights didn’t even come with a remote, so I have no way to remotely control the lights because it cannot connect to the app on my phone. I don’t recommend this brand and would suggest you purchase from a more reliable brand.
