ESL Wombat

ESL Wombat is an app designed to assist language teachers. It’s a store of general activities for teaching all ages. General means that these activities are not designed for teaching something like ‘present simple’ or ‘clothing’. Instead, they can be adapted to teach any grammar point or set of vocabulary that you want to teach.

To access teaching ideas and activities, you have to interact with a filter. Depending on what you are looking for, you can filter our activities by type (language skills, parts of the lesson), targeted age group, lesson type, and classroom environment. The filter functions similarly to those you use in shopping or hotel booking apps: selecting more buttons will further narrow your results.
