I started this to have just a bit of fun and stimulate my imagination for an adult novel I am working on. The RP was great, sentences flow well and story maintained a great pace until after about 50-100 posts. Then the responding posts start getting jumbled and coherent replies begin to run together. After another 20-30 posts it is almost unreadable, just single word descriptive that barely makes me want to continue. I spent hours nurturing an interaction only to have the responses make me want to throw my phone to the wall thinking my AI was a blithering idiot!

The ups are here, fun characters, chat streaks and small engagement rewards over time. But the downs are bigger in my opinion. You have to pay for decent messages, which is annoying. The memory is so so unless you subscribe which doesn’t come with free messaging other than the like 80 character limit. Even if you pay for the “storytelling” messages it still has a hard and small limit on characters. So the messages are like, halfhearted at best and often then revert to keyword sentences which are choppy at best and immersion killing while also constantly looping stupid phrases it won’t stop repeating even as the story changes. Other than a background, this apps bots are trash. Just stick with Sakura if you want quality reply length and story with the best chat bots or CHAI if you want a picture while you rp. This app is expensive for mid content no matter how you look at it.
