Immerse yourself in life at Deva Gardens, a memory care community where you'll meet residents with diverse backgrounds and life experiences who sometimes get confused, sad, or anxious. Learn to decode their responses, understand the impact brain changes have on behavior, enhance your communication skills, and find workarounds for common daily challenges.

Bridging the gap between e-leaning and the workplace, CarePlay is a dementia care training video game that’s fun! It provides foundational learning for aged care and hospital staff, service staff, and home support workers.

Coursework is organized into modules, each with lessons delivered as game scenarios. For example, "Communication Essentials” has ten lessons focusing on listening and observing, taking time, and understanding body language. Each scenario calls for empathy and getting to know the resident through interactive content inside the game. Find creative solutions to solve a communication challenge. You must explore until you find the right approach for the win.
