Huge Pixeljam fan. However. I agree with the other reviewer that the bottom of the action area is too close to the bottom of my screen. Swiping near the bottom frequently triggers the app minimizing function on my iPhone, taking me out of the game. It doesn’t matter where I begin holding the throw. This is a pretty severe oversight imo. Still, you get 4 stars 😇

This game is good and all just please make the make the game pixels 4x4 or 8x8 any pixel higher than 2x2 and add like accessories for your character and make it so their different colored characters different colored and different themed corn bags/corn holes so I hope you take my info greatly

I love the idea of a retro-style mobile version of one of my favorite yard games, but the controls are not good. There is no point in trying to get the “feel” for the perfect toss; the interface of an iPhone touchscreen allows for zero degrees of error. I spent more time than I care to admit attempting to get the muscle memory to learn how to throw “in-the-hole,” but 99 times out of 100 the beanbag either goes flying out of bounds or falls short of the board. And it doesn’t even feel like cornhole anymore. It feels like I’m wrestling against a broken slot machine that just eats my time instead of quarters. Every flick, every swipe — all of it pointless, because no matter how I adjust my “technique,” the game decides on a whim whether the bag goes into orbit or plummets like a brick. And WHY is there no calibration? Why can’t I just tune the sensitivity so it doesn’t punish me for having normal human thumbs?! The worst part? Every time I almost convince myself I’ve finally cracked the code, I line up the perfect shot, I release it at just the right angle, and then… it SKIDS OFF THE BOARD LIKE IT’S MADE OF TEFLON. I’M NOT PLAYING BEANBAG TOSS — I’M PLAYING “WATCH IN HORROR AS YOUR BAG DEFIES THE LAWS OF PHYSICS.” DO YOU HEAR ME, DEVS? THIS IS NOT FUN. THIS IS NOT RETRO. THIS IS NOT ANYTHING BUT TORTURE. I JUST WANTED TO PLAY A CASUAL GAME OF CORNHOLE, AND INSTEAD I’M SCREAMING AT MY PHONE IN THE MIDDLE OF A COFFEE SHOP LIKE A DERANGED LUNATIC. FIX. THE. CONTROLS. OR DELETE THIS APP FROM EXISTENCE.
