Update 1/21/26 Recent update added a ton of ads. Hadn’t bothered me before but I almost uninstalled after the first video I had to sit through. I recognize they gotta make money to support development somehow so I’ll keep using for now. Original I was looking for a simple app to help me quickly log food and drinks. I’m sure this isn’t extremely accurate but I value simplicity and speed here. The only other real options in this space are like $50+ annual subscriptions.

I love that I can just describe my meal in a sentence (e.g., 'chicken salad with avocado') and CaloriMate does the rest. It removes the friction of searching for individual ingredients. Highly recommended if you want to save time.
