With the rise in online scams, which cost U.S consumers $12.5 billion in 2023, we all need to stay on guard and protect ourselves. Our app sends notifications to users so they can keep up to date on emerging scams and get access to tips that can help them stay protected. The app also allows users to easily share these news stories and tips with family and friends who may be targeted by fraudsters.

The app has the following features: • Alerts on scams that are trending so users can stay on guard. • The ability to easily share content with friends and family who may be at risk. • Access to a news feed that allows you to stay up to date on online scams. • Tips on how users can stay protected from scams. • List of online scams so users can educate themselves and avoid them. • Resources for users who have been victimized. • Charts that show trends in online scams. • The ability to submit user experiences so the app can later add visualizations to show which scams are trending.
