User Reviews
Pros
- Very accurate dictation with strong adaptability (dictionary extensions)
- Significant productivity boost; speeds up writing and reduces typing (helps prevent RSI)
- Useful across multiple contexts (notes, messages, emails, coding) and works with AI tools (ChatGPT, LLMs)
- Grammar and punctuation corrections improve text quality
- Convenience features and quick-access options reduce the need to switch apps or contexts
Cons
- Requires a custom keyboard on iOS and can disrupt workflow due to app-switching
- Privacy concerns about keyboard data access and data collection
- Stability issues on iOS (bugs, crashes), plus battery drain and occasional device overheating
- Language and name recognition errors (e.g., Urdu mis-transcribed as Hindi; poor name recognition)
- Pricing can be expensive / subscription may be unaffordable for some

It's a great dictation app for on the go, but also on the desktop. The only thing is, there are some words that it still isn't accurate on. Also, I like how when I change my mind about what I'm going to say, how it doesn't take that line but takes my new line. At the same time, it doesn't always do it. Sometimes it does repeats my mistakes which I then have to go to the line that I don't want and delete it, which takes up more time. Another thing is, let's say I dictate a sentence, but I want to add a word in that same sentence. When I tap on that part of the sentence to dictate the added word, it capitalizes that word, which is very annoying! I did notice that sometimes on certain devices it does capitalize the new word, and sometimes it doesn't. I don't like the inconsistency! Overall, it's very helpful to have a dictation that is 9 out of 10 accurate.

I use this on my iPhone and my iPad. I paid for a one year subscription, but I wish I hadn't.
It is marginally more accurate than the built-in voice recognition offered by Apple for free.
However, it is much more difficult to edit the text that you are dictating. There should be some way to instruct the application to capitalize words. It should be possible using your voice to select words, sentences, and paragraphs. It should be possible to have a simple command the performs an "undo" function.
I've also found it at times to be less stable than the built-in application from Apple. I have more than one occasion dictated four paragraphs only to have them suddenly disappear.
Perhaps down the road there will be some improvements that will make this more useful to me.
