2019-06-07 Ng***** After exercising this app through a couple hundred questions, my experience is similar to that reported by others. All questions are multiple choice, as on the Element 3 license exam. However, certain questions asked in this tester are nowhere to be found in the official, current 462 question set. Many such questions are repeated during testing with different facts. Same question; different numbers. In many such cases, all of the multiple choice answers are incorrect, while the Explain button gives the correct answer...but with no explanation. Apple should refund the cost of this tester. It is marginally useful and will do more harm than good to anyone using it to prepare for the Element 3 exam.

Then you buy the real version for $10, not bad for practice with test. But! There are incorrect answers, bad answers, that without checking will ensure you do badly on test. The “explanation” will have the correct answer, but they have screwed up and mixed answers with wrong questions.

2017-03-05 Sc***** Sadly I purchased "Pro" version. The "Explain" button doesn't explain anything it just gives you the correct answer, I expected some real meat here! The questions are not numbered or indexed like other apps. So I can't even reference a particular problem I have with some of them. Writer obviously cut and pasted questions and responses into this shell. The shell didn't take some of the characters from the font being copied over so some questions have strange characters embedded. So far I have also noted that the questions related to SWR ratios have several strange decimal values in the responses instead of the actual ratios intended. Strangely the right ration shows up in the pop up when you click on the "Explain" button. Thought this had a way to take a test similar to what FCC administers through qualified VEs. Anyway this is not the case. For $9.99 I expected context and a lot more than what you get in a similar app for free. Please fix and update and you might get more sales.

2013-07-25 BL***** I tried a few different ones. This one was by far the best. It allowed me to study one section at a time and monitor what questions I get right on the first attempt or not. There are a few tiny bugs but still by far a great way to study and check your self. My only complaint is it would be nice if the actual FCC question number was included in the explanation area so it would be easier to look up a question u don't know the answer to. bottom line GREAT APP.
