User Reviews

Users praise the app as a strong, mobile-friendly Processing/p5.js editor that runs offline and supports JavaScript coding on a phone. However, most reviews focus on flaws: persistent data loss with unclear saving, debugging feedback hidden behind payments, limited project import (no folders/multi-file support), no clear save function, and editor usability issues. Overall, it’s valuable for mobile coding but burdened by bugs and monetization hurdles that hinder reliable, long-term use.
Pros
  • Excellent for mobile coding with Processing/p5.js (powerful mobile IDE)
  • Works offline without internet, enabling coding on the go
  • Good fit for JavaScript coding on mobile and testing sketches
  • Positive overall sentiment and appreciation for the app’s potential/end-user value
Cons
  • Frequent data loss and progress reverting; unreliable saving (no consistent save)
  • Lack of accessible debugging/error messages; compiler output often hidden behind a paywall
  • Limited project import capabilities (no folder import or multi-file project support)
  • No obvious manual save button and overall poor file management/saving workflow
  • Editor/IDE shortcomings (poor auto-indentation, problematic syntax highlighting, limited debugging)

I bought premium or whatever for 10$ to add little games I made to my home screen like it said I could. When I went to “share to home screen” it wasn’t there! It wouldn’t show “share to Home Screen” like it said it would. I was extremely disappointed and should have seen that it was a scam or something. Although I do love coding in JavaScript!

This is by far the BEST iCompiler not just on apple app store but on the entire internet catering to the iPhone or Mobile device period far as cell phone!!! All it’s missing in my personal opinion is: 1.) GIF for animating sprites! 2.) The Ability to Rename my (p5.js) Projects! 3.) Ability to *Duplicate* a Project! 4.) And a more robust saving system to ensure my miner but tedious code corrections remain secure and doesn’t erase from data over time while I’m unaware (which unfortunately happens more often than what is convenient)! 5.) Oh and an undo / redo button would be absolutely delightful right now!!! 6.) And your conversion to home app (process) doesn’t work well! I’ll even go as far to say if you made all these updates and made a one time lifetime payment to acquire them and make a notice when we log in showing it’s available! I personally would pay for it! Note: A monthly fee would not work because you’d have a lot of angry customers (programmers) who would be unable to compile projects with features they can no longer afford to utilize like GIF etc! I really hope read this message and know that I mean well by it! Congratulations on your hard work and success thus far! Its a slow market but quality is rare to come by and trust me this is the most solid compiler for javascript probably on earth! And mist wont realize how much they need this until they have lol!!! And like why hasn’t Someone been created this! Try to hurry up and get those updates before the A.I. wave comes by! Everyone is looking to test their codes more on their phones! And all you need is one good wave and one good shout out and BOOM! Literally, Foot on the gas for life! It’s just like that! Peace & Blessings.
