User Reviews

Users praise SAF-T-Net for precise, timely alerts and useful local warnings with customizable settings, but many report reliability and usability problems after updates: nuisance alerts, difficulty deleting locations, laggy or broken radar/maps, confusing UI changes, and occasional temperature forecast inconsistencies.
Pros
  • Extremely accurate and timely severe weather alerts, including local and hyper-local notifications.
  • Customizable alert settings that let you pick which warnings you want to receive.
  • Fast and reliable data delivery with alerts that can anticipate weather events (e.g., lightning).
  • Easy-to-use interface on iPhone and straightforward setup for alerts.
Cons
  • Alerts can be excessive or not easily turn-offable, leading to nuisance notifications.
  • Inability to delete or manage saved locations, especially after travel.
  • Radar/map performance degraded after updates (slow loading, playback issues, or not opening).
  • Update-induced UI changes that many users felt reduced usability and clarity.
  • Inaccurate or stale temperature/forecast data reported by some users.

Warnings are fine but when they become excessively used WITHOUT a way to turn them off, its a BOTHER. So I’m removing the app and just use another that WILL. In short your excessive heat warnings are EXCESSIVELY EXCESSIVE with an EXCESSIVE index of EXCESSIVELY MORE EXCESSIVE.

This app is accurate nearly down to seconds. I turned on local and hyper local alerts and I receive notifications of incoming severe weather that are ridiculously accurate. 5/5 stars 10x over

I am not a fan of the table layout for the hourly outlook in this latest release. Bring back the old UI. It was much better and easier to visialize
