A GUARDIAN WHO KNOWS WHEN TO WORRY Name a watcher and a return time. If you stop moving for too long while recording, TrailsPals asks if you're OK — no answer and your Guardian and pals nearby are alerted with your position. Slide to send an SOS yourself at any time.

PALS ON THE SAME TRAIL See who's out right now, cheer them on, and ask to meet someone riding or walking the same route. Share anonymously if you prefer.

ROUTES YOU CAN FOLLOW Load EuroVelo, LF, USBR and long-distance national trails from the built-in library, or import a GPX. Follow the dashed line, get nudged when you drift off it, and see closures other travellers reported with photos.

TURN IT INTO A STORY Photos taken on the trail land on the map where you were. Make a Trail Reel — a 12-second vertical video of the map, your track, photos and stats — and share it to Instagram or TikTok. Every trip has a public web page you can send to anyone.

FREE TO RECORD, FREE TO SHARE Recording, live sharing, Guardian and pals are free. Pro adds unlimited photo import, trip mode on every trip, clean reels and trip stats — yearly or monthly.

TrailsPals uses your location in the background while recording and in trip mode. Continued use of GPS in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
