Real-time health data just got real with the Blaze™ equine wellness system. The easy-to-attach tail wrap and sensor measures real-time heart rate, stride frequency and more during rides and rest (accuracy of estimations can vary due to multiple factors, such as fit, physical characteristics and intensity of activity). When paired with your smartphone or Garmin smartwatch, you can get insights into your horse’s health and fitness — and make more informed decisions about their well-being and training.

Blaze™ Tail Wrap and Sensor:

• Blaze™ equine wellness system includes an easy-to-attach tail wrap with a removable, lightweight and power-efficient sensor that tracks your horse’s health and fitness metrics
• Equine optical heart rate provides data under motion and environmental conditions
• Activity tracking provides detailed information such as heart rate, stride frequency, gait, distance and more to get insights into your horse’s health and fitness (accuracy of estimations can vary due to multiple factors, such as fit, physical characteristics and intensity of activity)
• Put real-time data at your fingertips with the Blaze™ equine smartphone app or with the free Blaze™ app from the Connect IQ™ Store on your compatible smartwatch (requires a connection with BLUETOOTH® technology)
• Use the Blaze™ equine smartphone app to review post-activity details and insights, including recovery rate, time in heart rate zones, performance summary and more
• Track specific horse-riding activities (training, recovery and transport) for multiple horses (additional sensors sold separately)
• See GPS location summary after activities when paired with a GPS-enabled device. We support GPS for Outdoor Training and Transport activities only, no GPS data for Indoor Training and Recovery
• Sensor battery life up to 25 hours
