Screenwave connects film fans with local cinemas to revive cult classics, host indie films, and screen the movies that matter to you.

Now live at The Island (Lytham St Annes), The Regent Cinema (Blackpool), and Genesis Cinema (London, Whitechapel).

With the app, you can:

• Create a screening of a well-known film at your local cinema — search the film, pick a date, and back it to get it off the ground.
• Bring your own film to the big screen — upload your film details and fund it through the same process.
• Back an existing screening someone else has created — pledge your support and help it reach its funding target.
• Once a screening is funded and confirmed, select your seat and get your ticket.
• Every screening needs enough backers to hit its funding target before the date is locked in with the cinema. If the target isn't reached, everyone gets a full refund — completely risk-free.
