A warm welcome to the Tafel Guide. We are delighted to guide you on your journey to a modern, clear and always up-to-date information platform.

This app brings together all the key information from various social organisations such as food banks, registered associations (e.V.), initiatives and charitable organisations. Each organisation has its own, individually maintained version of the app: Content, languages and updates are managed directly within each organisation’s own backend and automatically displayed in the app in the appropriate, multilingual format.

The app currently supports 28 languages. Users can select two preferred languages, which the search function also uses. This enables customers, people in need, volunteers and staff to quickly find exactly the information they require.

In the event of last-minute changes – such as altered distribution times, organisational notices or important announcements – the app sends notifications directly to the user’s device.

In addition, we assist organisations in setting up a ticket distribution version. Available tickets are displayed directly in the app, and it is also possible to scan customer cards.

The app’s features are continuously expanding to meet the requirements of the participating organisations. Every organisation already connected to the system automatically benefits from new developments and improvements.

All content is downloaded on first launch and comprises approximately 200MB of data. Subsequent updates are significantly smaller. We therefore recommend downloading updates and new content via Wi-Fi.
