It also includes a sleep timer to end playback after a chosen interval.

Key features include automatic progress tracking, quick seeking, and easy playback across folders for convenient listening on iPhone or iPod Touch.

User Reviews

Users repeatedly praise the app for easily importing MP3 audiobooks and for automatic chapter creation, which simplifies navigation. However, the major drawbacks are a strict 30-minute daily limit on the free tier and a recurring frustration with the pricing model and subscription costs, which undermines the app’s otherwise strong import/chapters workflow.
Pros
  • MP3 batch import from the Files app is fast and convenient.
  • Chapters are automatically created/detected after uploading MP3 files, aiding navigation.
Cons
  • Free tier imposes a strict 30-minute daily listening limit and pushes users toward a paid subscription.
  • Users frequently report a confusing pricing model (monthly subscription, questions about a lifetime option, and value at the price) with mentions of $2.99/month.

As an avid audiobook listener and e-book reader, I need an app like this to listen to my audiobooks and occasionally to listen to my e-books via text to speech. I pay an annual fee for a different app (one that I absolutely love, love, love). For years, I never had a single issue with that app until I came across a book I could not successfully upload to that app. That’s how I came across this one. I was super grateful for the 1-hour a day to try this app for free (and I was super grateful to get to listen to my audiobook). I was really impressed with all of the features this app offered; the only problem I have with is that you can only increase this voice speed up to 2.0. With some narrators, I occasionally go as high as 2.5. With the audiobook, I listened to on this app, 2.0 felt very slow, so that was frustrating. Otherwise, I think this app is great! Especially since you can use it for one hour a day free.

It didn’t space out the chapters right and I waited 24 hours and I still didn’t get my 60 minutes refreshed. Honestly the app isn’t good enough to pay for its bare minimum
