2026-07-26	ts*****	I liked the ideas of a lot of sensors but the app didn’t hold the data and was buggy. Data came back after killing/restarting. And I just want the charts all the time - that’s the value. And then when the stall hit which was totally expected, the estimated time went like 5hrs longer than it should have. That’s just bad design. I want to vibe my own and see if these sensors can really sing with a good app partner.

2026-07-23	Ze*****	Great alternative to the more expensive brands out there but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to make it stop "cooking". As soon as I hit finish it starts over measuring and only stops when I seat the probe in the charger. Once I pull it out again it enters cooking mode again and the app starts measuring time duration again. Where's the dang STOP button please???

2026-07-04	pa*****	I have done five long smokes with the ThermoMaven setup. So far none of them are saved properly in my history. Alarm goes off when done telling you to start resting and you press the wrong button (or even the right button) and everything is gone. You have suddenly started a new cook. Your 14 hour history of the cook temperatures are simply gone. Hardware wise, it is great. Long battery life gets you through brisket smokes with ease. Multiple temperature sensors give you confidence. Yes live activities time out on long cooks but that is an Apple limitation and not the fault of the app. If the issues with saving of history is fixed this setup would be perfect. But I can't trust it to save the data so I have to take screenshots often or worry about losing my temp graphs permanently.
