Screenable makes it easy for kids to get just the apps that they need (phone, messaging, etc), and then I can monitor their usage time to make sure they aren’t going crazy with too much screen time. It’s the prefect iPhone onboarding app to make sure my kids stay safe while still learning how to use technology in healthy ways. A+++++

As a mother of 4 kids ages 3 through 13, I've been gatekeeping screen time for my kids for well over a decade! While I love the Apple platform, I was constantly frustrated by how awful Apple's Screen Time was and how many times it would completely fail me. After uninstalling Safari, it would often pop back on my kids devices (what!) or it would stop tracking their time for days before I would realize! Then Screenables came along! The screen time settings ACTUALLY WORK! I love the way I can customize what goes on my kids devices, I love how it warns and notifies both them and me when they are nearing the end of their screen time for the day. It's super easy to choose apps that are always allowed (ie kindle or podcasts). But what really sets Screenables apart, is its focus on teaching children healthy screen time habits. Screenables put in the research to back up their app, and I so appreciate benefitting from all the time and energy they combined to come up with an amazing product. Just download the app, you won't regret it!!!

2024-09-21	bi*****	Ever since Jonathan Haidt’s “Anxious Generation” book came out, I’ve wanted to give my kids the benefit of a communication device without all the social media and gaming distractions. I thought I had to buy a separate device on a whole different platform, but now with this app I can use the old iPhone we have around our house and the app turns it into a dumb phone! I’m also using the app to turn another old iPhone into a landline for our family, with just contacts, messaging/calling, and location… no more games, internet, or other distractions on the landline! Such an awesome app, so grateful for this!
