Review summary

Users praise Figure Markets for ease of use, strong yield potential, and low fees. Transfers are generally smooth and support can be helpful. Recurrent concerns focus on account lockouts, inconsistent or slow support, and bugs in staking/trading that can lead to losses, plus occasional withdrawal delays. Overall, attractive economics and usability exist, but reliability and access issues are the main drawbacks.
Pros
  • Easy to use and navigate
  • High yields on lending (APY around 8%+ in reviews)
  • Low fees and favorable spreads (zero-fee stablecoin purchases, tight spreads)
  • Smooth transfers in/out and positive onboarding experience
  • Support can be responsive and helpful (positive reviews)
Cons
  • Accounts can get locked or access can be blocked for long periods
  • Support responsiveness can be inconsistent or slow
  • Bugs and rough edges in staking/trading with potential token loss
  • Withdrawal/liquidity delays in urgent situations (timing issues)

2026-06-26 Sp***** Love the functionality of rwa and directly investing in these loans with stable coins. The issues I’ve had are two: first pending transactions are occurring but there’s no real time alert saying transaction of X is done. If real time can’t happen due to data gaps or activation (martech) understood but would be a bonus. Bigger issue is more the portfolio level performance view across my equity and pending and stable coin assets. I think you’re missing a huge opportunity to be a better fidelity with financial advice and customer performance insights as to how best leverage your vehicles.

2026-04-10 In***** I'm a director of compliance with 24 years of mortgage experience working at a competitor. I first researched Figure in April of 2025. I'm currently earning between 8% and 8.5% APR by lending Figure money on the democratized prime lending market. Once you open an account and move your cash over, it's very easy to buy the stablecoin YLDS with zero fees and then make them available to be borrowed by Figure at higher interest rates. I feel confident enough to have a significant portion of my savings invested/lent to Figure markets. You are basically lending them money to fund their home equity line of credit business, which is typically done by a warehouse bank. All that means is that Figure lending typically has access to a giant revolving line of credit with institutions, (like a big credit card) and this is just one of those sources of funding for them. You’re not investing in the long duration of these HELOC for example it’s only funding the loans until they’re sold, which is perhaps around 30 days. That said you actually have the opportunity to get your money back and not lend it to them every hour via their reverse Dutch repo auction. You get real assets on the blockchain against your loan. There is a third-party bank that holds these assets in trust. I highly recommend you research this with any of the large language models to learn more. If I could, I would share my research with you here!

2026-04-08 Oo***** If I could, I’d would give them 0 stars. This app asks for trust but does not earn it. My experience was unresolved issues, no real response from support, and a lack of transparency around critical security and account questions. That might be annoying in a social app. In a finance app, it is a deal breaker. I would not trust this platform with money.

2026-03-14 BT***** Best trade spreads and fees. I’m closing my expensive Kraken and Coinbase which cost me 13% and 9% on buy/sell spreads every time I trade. Figure keeps speak tight and fee low. Hands down the best platform!

2026-03-13 ps***** The app has many bugs and rough edges around staking and trading. I lost some tokens during the staking process without a clear understanding why. I would be careful using to prevent losing money. The app does have potential if the issues are fixed.

2026-02-14 DV***** During a rapid decline in Bitcoin and Ethereum prices, I urgently needed to manage multiple loans to avoid liquidation. I called support roughly four times a day for nearly a week, asking about different ways to pay down or pay off my loans. The options I requested weren’t available, and I had to wait for an app fix before I could pay using USDC. I chose USDC specifically because I needed to pay off loans quickly, release the collateral, and use it to cover other loans before liquidation — these were not small positions. I’ve invested over half a million dollars in their products. I was told that paying off a loan via USDC would release collateral instantly, similar to how a standard payment works. That was not the case. It took nearly four days. In a rapidly falling market, four days is critical. I needed that collateral to pay off another loan, and the delay put everything at risk. A crypto lending company that can’t facilitate fast liquidity management puts its customers in serious jeopardy. This was easily the most stressful financial situation I’ve experienced in decades. If I hadn’t called repeatedly and escalated to a manager, I likely would have been liquidated and lost hundreds of thousands of dollars. One star for the reasons above.
