Waypoints turns your daily movement into a private, living map, completely automatically. See where you’ve been, find the places you visited, and view curated statistics based off your data, all processed locally on your device. It’s built for iPhone, respectful of your battery, and designed to keep your data yours.

What it does • Automatic timeline. Waypoints logs your routes and draws your journey line for any day. No manual tracking required. • Past Places, found fast. Browse by day or search by name or category, or even just find it on the map. • Add your story. Attach notes to visits, and view photos take at that time so the context stays with the map, not lost in your camera roll. • Deep iOS integration. Encrypted iCloud backup and support for Shortcuts make Waypoints fit right into your setup. • Import & export. Bring in visits from Photos, GPX, and Google Timeline; export your own data to GPX anytime. • Live Activities. Keep an eye on how long you've been at that coffee shop from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, all automatically.

Privacy by design • By default, Waypoints uses privacy-minded HassellHaus Overpass servers powered by OpenStreetMap. • No geocoding history kept. Our servers don’t store a history of your geocoding requests or link them to your identity. You can even use your own, the server is open source! • Works fully offline. You can turn off iCloud sync, geocoding, telemetry, and add places manually. Waypoints continues to work with zero network access. • Minimal, optional telemetry. Anonymous usage and crash data helps improve the app; no personally identifiable information (PII) is collected. You’re in control and can disable it right when you download the app.
