Review summary
Pros
- AI-generated article summaries are a standout feature and widely appreciated.
- Customization options for summaries are useful (feed-level and article-level summaries).
- Clean, aesthetically pleasing interface and reading experience.
- Very broad sources/feeds available for selection.
- Good integration with Apple ecosystem (iCloud syncing, push notifications).
Cons
- AI summaries often fail to capture the article's main points or are too brief.
- Pricing model is paywalled or overpriced, with many reviewers unhappy about subscriptions.
- Stability and performance issues include startup freezes, slow loads, and blank screens (and TV app loading problems).
- Limited customization and challenging feed organization (hard to import, no bulk editing, few layout controls).
- In-app reading experience is subpar (no reader view, cannot adjust font size, navigation issues).

| 2026-05-29 | 🤔***** | I’m glad the tv app was finally fixed a few months ago, but — unlike its iPhone and iPad counterparts — it lacks a category section, and ONLY shows sports (ESPN and Sky Sports) news… which I care nothing about. Please implement a categories tab/section so that I can thoroughly enjoy the app. | |

| 2026-01-30 | ho***** | I tried this specifically for the Apple Watch support. Right now my RSS apps don't sync across devices so I was hoping this would work to replace them. It's very AI forward which is not what I'm interested in. On the Apple Watch, tapping an article tries to load the entire website instead of a watch-friendly reader view. Most times the website won't load at all, and so it's not possible to read the full article which defeats the purpose. I'll have to continue looking for a solution | |

| 2025-07-09 | lo***** | This app is a rip off and it shouldn’t be on apple‘s App Store. Why pay for a news app when you can get it for free? I want my money refunded back. If I don’t get it refunded back I’m gonna report this app as a scam | |

| 2025-01-16 | Ja***** | It is basically a paid app as each time I tried to read an article it says I have to pay (before it was with only the Ai) also the articles feel not as relevant and very company repetitive it isn’t very shuffled. And honestly I believe there are other option with better or similar use… Particle… | |

| 2025-01-04 | CC***** | Love the idea of summarized articles but this is missing a few important beats that I hope they improve on. 1) no way to indicate like / dislike articles in For You to help fine tune the list ongoing 2) no way to feedback on length, completeness of summaries. Many are too brief and miss key points relevant for a summary, making reading the full article much more necessary and defeating the app’s purpose. | |

| 2024-10-16 | US***** | I’m not a big fan of how the feeds are displayed in the boxed squares. It seems like the developers could use some modern design skills to improve the app’s appearance. | |
