My experience with Amata was ultimately a waste of time. The app arranged a date for me, but when I arrived at the restaurant, there was no reservation and no available tables. At the same time, my date was running late. Instead of enjoying a first date, I was left standing outside trying to figure out a backup plan. I’ve also experienced multiple matches canceling after dates were already scheduled. Dating is unpredictable, but if the service is meant to save users time and effort, frequent cancellations and logistical failures defeat the purpose. The AI experience was also underwhelming, with responses that felt generic and unhelpful. Overall, I expected much more for a paid service.

PSA Be careful what you tell the AI bot. It will tell you that certain preferences are private but they are not. I’ve seen a few profiles that were like “person _ doesn’t want to date race _”. Doesn’t show anyone that meets the criteria. Need to pay for each date.
