AMA MyPace is Alberta’s first true pay-as-you-go auto insurance, meaning you get to control your premium based on how many kilometres your car is driven. If your car is driven less than 9,000 km a year, see how much more AMA MyPace can save you compared to traditional car insurance.

To use the app, you’ll need to be on an AMA MyPace policy and install a dedicated on-board diagnostic (OBD) device in your vehicle. To check your eligibility and get started, call an AMA Insurance advisor at 1-800-615-5896. Learn more at AMAMyPace.ca.

AMA MyPace is a type of telematics or usage based insurance that calculates your premium based on the number of kilometres your vehicle is driven. It provides Albertans flexibility to choose insurance suited to their lifestyle. When your vehicle is driven less, your insurance should reflect that. AMA MyPace does just that.

The AMA MyPace App works with your unique AMA MyPace OBD device to track your kilometres, keeping you informed and in control (no user input required). So if you notice some extra kilometres in one month, you get to decide how much you want drive your car next month. You get to set your insurance to fit your pace.
