SFT - Schienenfahrzeugtagung

The conference will be organised by the Institute of Railways and Transport under the direction of Univ.Prof.Dipl.-Ing.Dr.techn. Peter VEIT every one and a half years.

The first conference was in 1954 and was organised by the professors Dr. Gilli, Dr. Oberndorfer and Dr. Pflanz. Since 1996 the Institute of Railway Engineering and Transport Economy take care about the conference.

The objective is to discuss the latest state-of-the-art developments and constructions of rail vehicles of passenger transport, local passenger transport, freight transport as well as of trams, regional trains and subways.

Parallel to the conference, an accompanying exhibition takes place, which supplements the lectures meaningfully through the presentation of products.
