Five Levels, and You Unlock Every One

Everyone starts on Easy. Solve two Easy boards and Normal opens. Four Normal solves open Hard, six Hard solves open Expert, and eight Expert solves open Master. Levels are unlocked by solving, never by paying, so the grid in front of you is always one you've already proved you can handle.

Easy hands you 37 to 41 numbers. Master hands you 17 — fewer than half, and fewer than any other level in the game. Almost the whole grid is yours to build, one cell at a time, and it only opens after eight Expert wins. Every number you enter is checked against the solution the board was generated from.

There's no fixed pack here. Every board is generated on your device the second you press start, so there's no puzzle count to exhaust and nothing to wait on.

Extreme Mode, When Five Levels Aren't Enough

Solve four Hard boards and Extreme unlocks. One hint instead of three, three mistakes instead of five, no extra chances, and no notes or highlighting at all. It scores double and keeps its own stats.

Built for the Gaps in Your Day

Boards are generated and played entirely on your phone, so a tunnel, a flight, or a dead zone makes no difference. Pause halfway through, come back tomorrow, and your grid and your notes are exactly where you left them. The only thing that needs a connection is the global leaderboard, where each win scores points from your time, mistakes and level.

How It Works

Fill every row, every column, and every 3x3 box with the numbers 1 through 9, each used once. That's the whole rule. There's no arithmetic anywhere in sudoku, only deduction, which is why it stays interesting for years and works just as well at eight as at eighty.
