2025-05-05 KG***** The app keeps crushing. When I open the app the screen is black and nothing else happens. I’ve restarted the phone. Updated the phone, turned off and on the phone. Nothings helps. I’ve been paying for the subscription but can’t use the app. And now they went up on their monthly price from $5.99 to $6.99.

2025-03-19 Qu***** This app basically gives you the same 3 ai driven recipes with slight variations. It also forces you to add ingredients in order to suggest recipes. If there is another way then it is incredibly hidden which is very unhelpful. I’m pretty technical and so is my husband. Neither of us could get this app to work in any way that is useful. Do not pay for this. It’s a huge waste of money unless you want to enter the ingredients for a specific food. If you know what then a Pinterest search has way better results. Just terrible.

2025-01-01 He***** I know there's a lot of us out there, people who love to eat and dislike food prep. Been this way for 50 years or more of my life . Always have random leftover ingredients from hopeful attempts to create a meal from a recipe. Thanks to AppAdvice, I found this app that is finally the real help I need to prep food myself. I'll never love food prep, some of us arent built that way, but this app doesn't get complicated with that. Simple. This is what I have , I chose a few main ingredients (or a lot) from my inventory, and it gives me a recipe.. or more than one. Not gourmet, but satisfying. No more staring blankly into the cupboard or the refrigerator for hours wondering how can I successfully get these random ingredients onto my plate? (and actually enjoy the flavor?) With CRUMB, I'm making better use of the food already in my house because things are not languishing in the cupboard or the refrigerator until it expires. No app will be perfect for everyone, but it's just right for me and worth the try when you hate trying to figure out what to make for the nourishment you need.

2024-12-26 pe***** was really hoping that this app would use machine learning to search for real recipes made by real people. instead it makes up really disgusting sounding dishes, with tacky AI art. there's no option to save your ingredients, so each time you want to cook something you have to manually re-enter all of your ingredients, and it all but forces you to do it via microphone. you have to trick the app to allow you to type in ingredients, which feels especially shady when talking about such an obnoxiously AI driven app. i can only speculate that it uses the audio input of all their users for tts machine learning without their consent, although of course i can't claim that for certain. it generates one recipe at a time, and won't let you regenerate a new one on the free version. constantly pushes its paid subscription version, which is such a joke considering its use of unpaid AI content.

2024-11-12 SL***** There was bedlam in my fridge. I had cheese about to expire, spinach I didn’t know what to do with, and a few straggling carrots that I could neither bring myself to munch on or throw away. Crumb made a garden of this chaos and I ended up with a very tasty and garlicky spinach/carrot sauté! I highly recommend.

2024-09-02 Pa***** This app is awesome! Instead of having to type in and search the ingredients that I already have, I can simply tell them to my phone. The current promotion they are running for the year is well worth it. Especially if you constantly struggle to figure out what to make for dinner.
