Features & Capabilities

WalkWork is a free step counter that converts your daily activity into StepEnergy. The more you walk or run, the more energy you earn, which you can redeem for popular rewards such as gift cards. It promotes a healthier lifestyle by turning activity into tangible rewards, and provides a comprehensive activity tracker including steps, calories burned, duration, and distance.

Getting started is simple: download the WalkWork app, set up, then walk to unlock energy blocks. Earn energy through daily sign-ins, stage rewards, and even a lottery wheel. Redeem energy on the home screen for gift cards (Amazon, Walmart, Sephora, Uber, etc.). All features are free, with updates like the Big Wheel games and trend/history tracking. The app is available worldwide; be mindful of device permissions and safety advisories.

User Reviews

WalkWork shows some appeal for easy use and earning rewards through activity, with positive anecdotes from a portion of users. However, recurring issues heavily affect experience: slow or missing payouts, poor customer support, frequent reliability problems (login errors, app crashes, certificate warnings), and legitimacy concerns. These persistent cons dominate the reviews, while a minority remain satisfied with the app’s concept and occasional payouts.
Pros
  • Easy to use / user-friendly interface
  • Rewards potential: earn money by completing steps or activities
  • Positive user sentiment: app is enjoyable and praised by some users
  • Some users report occasional payouts or positive updates (first redeem payment)
Cons
  • Payout delays and unreliability: rewards taking days/weeks or not delivered
  • Poor or unresponsive customer support: difficulty contacting, no responses to inquiries
  • App reliability issues: frequent login problems, crashes, and certificate/connection errors
  • Perceived legitimacy concerns: a few users label the app as scam or untrustworthy
  • Terms-of-service enforcement without warning: accounts or rewards being voided without notice

I have redeemed my rewards a few times- and had issues every time. The last time, I had to download Telegram in order to communicate with them. I did- and they sent my rewards through. But- now, I am waiting on rewards from 3/27 and cannot find any way to contact them. (I took screenshots showing I redeemed the rewards). It’s so frustrating!
