Wuthering Waves

I used to play genshin and honestly let me tell you this game this better in many ways not is the story line better but the character designs are so beautiful you can tell they put effort in making the player have a great time playing.

Wuthering waves is a pretty good game to play. The pity system is easy to understand and isn’t too high. The gameplay itself if really good and is never boring. Despite Wuthering waves being a good game on paper, there’s some big issues that make it hard to enjoy at times. For starters,the character designs are either mid at best, bad, or rarely amazing. A lot of the designs seem to lean more towards sexualizing female characters rather than making them look appealing and interesting. There’s a big lack of male characters which I find weird because when the game first came out it advertised many male characters and a mostly even male to female character ratio. Over time seeing men in the game has become more and more rare and when they are released, they aren’t as useful as the female characters and seem to have less thought put behind them. There’s also not a lot of four stars in the game making it hard to save and making team building not free to play friendly. Because the four stars in the game tend to be very useless, most teams need to be built to perfection with costly investments in order to complete end game content. I have multiple characters in the game which are built almost perfectly, I don’t have all of their premium teams which makes endgame content so difficult to complete. For example in the game mode whimpering waste, if the player doesn’t have the newest and well built characters, the chance of getting any good rewards are slim as there are a select few characters that can beat the end game mode. In tower of adversity, the middle tower is also difficult to complete with the time given, forcing the player to either invest even more in a team, or get a new one. Characters are replaced frequently with others and team flexibility is lacking. Over all, the game has changed a lot since it first released. The rewards aren’t as appealing as they used to be, the character designs aren’t always the best, the game is getting more difficult and less free to play friendly, the story pacing and telling isn’t that good, and building teams isn’t as fun as it used to be. Characters are hard to skip and it feels like skipping one completely alters how the rest of the game will be played. The game isn’t bad especially compared to others but, as a day one player since launch, i find it difficult to stay engaged and enjoy it like i used to. The game is still fun however improvements should definitely be made with endgame content difficultly, free to play teams and flexibility, and rewards.
