User Reviews

Reviews praise Atoms as a genuinely helpful, easy-to-use habit tracker with coaching-like guidance that helps users progress and monitor habits. However, multiple reviews cite a six-habit limit, a costly subscription, and reliability problems (connectivity, syncing, freezes). Some users also feel the app is overly complex or bloated. Overall it’s effective for many, but price and cap on habits limit broader appeal.
Pros
  • Genuinely helpful habit tracker with coaching-style guidance that supports progress toward goals.
  • Provides enough information and tracking tools to keep you moving without being glued to the screen.
  • Easy to monitor and track progress over time with a clear, powerful interface.
  • Positive impact on real-life habits (e.g., reading more, daily routines) and strong word-of-mouth recommendations.
  • Walks users through what to do, offering useful structure and motivation.
Cons
  • Six-habit limit with a high-cost subscription to exceed it; many reviewers want more than six habits.
  • Price and subscription model are hard to justify; desire for a one-time payment or lifetime option.
  • Reliability issues: connectivity problems, updates stopping, and occasional freezes.
  • Perceived feature bloat and complexity; app feels heavy rather than a simple habit tracker.

I’ve been trying to use these apps I downloaded a lot more recently and stick with them so I can decide which one to pay for, I really like that each one, especially since it’s about mental health, are at least partially free.

I’ve tried a lot of ‘motivation’ apps but honestly most of them had a paywall. This app keeps its simple, but effective at the same time

I really like it so far! One suggestion I have is that the app should give the user a choice of having a certain time because I like to be flexible. I hope this helps. 😊
