Recycle at Boots is a Boots UK/Boots ROI initiative powered by Scan2Recycle. It targets hard-to-recycle beauty, health, and wellness packaging—items like travel minis, composite palettes, and blister packs that aren’t typically accepted by kerbside recycling. Sign up for a Boots Scan2Recycle account, upload images of eligible recyclables, and have them verified within 24 hours on weekdays to prepare them for deposit.

To deposit, visit a participating Boots store, scan the QR code at the recycling point, and select at least five items to deposit. If approved, you’ll earn Boots Advantage Card points and receive a reward voucher. The scheme provides full traceability via MYgroup, ensuring materials are recycled or reused rather than sent to landfill. Since 2020, it has recovered over 145 tonnes of hard-to-recycle plastic, issued over 520 thousand rewards, and saved 2.9 million products from landfill.
