User Reviews

Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 is lauded for its strong puzzle design, expanded content, and immersive presentation, building on the original with more levels, music, and visuals. Players praise its long playtime and the sense of progress. The game’s drawbacks are inconsistent controls and a sense among some players that it lacks novelty and new weapons compared with the first game. Overall, it’s a well-made, highly replayable sequel with active developer support.
Pros
  • Excellent, well-designed puzzles with satisfying 'aha' moments.
  • Strong sequel that expands the original with more levels, new mechanics, and parallel storytelling.
  • Rich atmosphere with setting, music, voice acting, and polished visuals.
  • Substantial content and long playtime (101 levels), providing hours of puzzle-solving.
  • Responsive developer with timely QoL updates and ongoing support.
Cons
  • Controls can be inconsistent or unresponsive, with swipes not always registering or causing unintended moves.
  • Feels too similar to the first game; not enough novelty or new weapons/mechanics to justify a sequel for some players.

It’s the same as the first game just new levels and new game mechanics. Puzzles are so good, I wish there were more mobile games like this. Russian translation is hilariously bad though. You translated “Hey!” as “Gay!”. I was so confused by this when I first met the brother in Dream two. Also every verb used towards main heroine translated using male form (we have different verbs for man and woman). So in Russian you have main heroine speaking about herself like she is a man. I already wasn’t sure what gender she is and when the brother appears and randomly called her “Gay!”, my mind was blown. I instantly switched to English and replayed starting from Dream two.

Not much to say here, the first game I completed with immense joy. This one is identical, it brings the same sense of satisfaction and provides ample room for scratching your head and then going “I FIGURED IT OUT!”

Part puzzle game, part action RPG. Dungeons of Dreadrock and its predecesor are very fun games that will take a few hours to beat. Puzzles are mostly moving on tiles in the right order with increasingly complicated mechanics. Definitely worth a try!
