User Reviews

Window Garden is widely loved for its relaxing vibe, cute pixel art, and soothing music, with fun mini-games to keep you engaged. Players also praise offline play and optional ads that don’t force spending, plus frequent updates and events. Common drawbacks are that it can feel repetitive without more rooms, layers, and activities; progression pacing and resource costs can be slow; and some players report cross-device account transfer issues or onboarding glitches. Overall it’s a calming, well-crafted idle decorating game with a supportive community and ongoing improvements.
Pros
  • Relaxing, cozy vibes that many players find calming and soothing.
  • Beautiful pixel-art visuals with a pleasant, calming soundtrack.
  • Engaging mini-games that feel fun and not overly demanding.
  • Optional, non-intrusive ads that let you earn items without spending money.
  • Offline play and the ability to enjoy the game without a constant internet connection, plus ongoing updates/events.
Cons
  • Can feel repetitive or slow over time without more rooms, layers, or activities to decorate.
  • Cross-device account transfer and login issues make moving progress (e.g., between Android and iPhone) frustrating.
  • Occasional onboarding/tutorial glitches that can stall new players.

I love this game! I love the graphics, the music, and how you have to come back to water them each day (and how you can watch an ad to revive them when you ultimately go a few days without checking them 😆) It’s very relaxing and I love finding out over time what the plan ends up looking like when it grows! My only request is that I’d like the rooms to be a little more zoomed out so we have more wall space to put shelves on. I actually feel claustrophobic with how crowded all my plants are. I need more space in each room. I also hope you’ll continue to add more rooms to the house like a conservatory, another bedroom, an office, a covered porch that faces the house so you can put chairs and plants. Things like that. I’d also love the option to unlock another house to then begin decorating and unlocking rooms. It would be fun to imagine the different owners. One may be a crystal mom and have all the gemstones and celestial planters while the other may be ultra modern. And one could love animals and cutesy-frilly design. How cute would it be to make a grandma house with vintage/outdated looking design but warm and fuzzy? I just have too many plants and pots and no space for them. And my rooms are just too packed full. I could sell plants but I want to have one of each kind.

while i do love this game, after a little while, you collect so many plants that you cant water properly, and its a pain to get more suns and water. so you try to put them back in your inventory but apparently they die there too! is there no way of just storing extra plants?
