| 2026-07-16 | Th***** | My favorite language learning tool, period! It’s so good for building a foundation, even with a few minor issues. They use spaced repetition, which is a simple, but incredibly effective tool for learning Swedish (and pretty much anything). You can customize the number of cards you get each day, and you can set rest days, in case you feel overwhelmed or fall behind. The design is clean and simple, and I haven’t encountered any bugs. Two things I’d change are that I wish you could save progress between devices (if you contact support they may be able to help, but it isn’t a default option), and I do wish you had the ability to play audio at half speed, because some longer sentences can be a bit difficult to understand at the full, natural soeed. But overall, they polished this and poured so much work into it that it really does make you appreciate that they’re focusing on doing the Nordic languages extremely well, in a quality over quantity sorta way. To me, this is better than doing 40+ languages with a standardized system with robotic voices. They use native speakers for each card, who all speak at a natural, real life pace, which is a HUGE improvement over what I’m used to even if it can be a little bit difficult to understand audio at first. Customer service is also excellent and was super helpful for me. $80 seems kind of steep for a year, but a few months in, I honestly feel like it’s incredible value for a streamlined, polished, effective learning tool with folks behind it who really do care about doing it right. 5/5, this is such a nice foundation for learning Swedish, especially when—because it isn’t a super popular language for foreigners to learn—resources are a bit limited unless you live there. Which I do not. Maybe some day. | |

| 2026-06-26 | Cr***** | Unfortunately the forced portrait view doesn’t work for me. I have my iPad set up in a keyboard carrier case and I never use it vertically. It’s prohibitively awkward to try and use vertically. Can’t comfortably set it up the tablet to use properly for this app. It’s the only app/program I use that forces vertical use and I don’t really want to have to fuss with a tablet set up that works for me just to use one app. Very disappointing. | |

| 2026-03-27 | A ***** | I’ve been using this app for two months, coming from near-zero Swedish, and it quickly became the core of my learning because of how clearly effective and efficient it is. The daily lessons are motivating. The quality is top-notch. The most important concepts are introduced early and drilled until you really know them. Finally, it’s easy to skip any item you already know, so you’re never wasting your time here. The price is 1000% worth it, knowing that it’s always using my time effectively. | |

| 2025-11-04 | Ba***** | An amazing spaced repetition app for learning Swedish! The audio is absolutely top tier. You can clearly hear that all the pronunciation is recorded by real people, not AI voices. This makes such a big difference. I love how the app is so well organized and lets you choose exactly what you want to focus on (pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening). Everything about it feels thoughtful and complete. I’ve tried so many Swedish apps, and this one is by far my favorite. An incredible amount of work went into it. It does not seem underdeveloped at all (like a reviewer said). It is easy to look at and focus; I like that it is not gamified and flashy, and I hope the developers keep it that way. I highly recommend it. | |

| 2025-07-12 | El***** | I really like this app, it’s explanations, and it’s model, but the price feels hard to justify for essentially a flash card app. I know $7-$12 monthly might not be a lot for some people, but where I live that’s only marginally less expensive than my renter’s insurance. I think I would be more inclined to purchase a subscription if A. I could view the cards outside of reviews, B. If there was extra material, say short stories, and C. If I got to see a little more of the program before being prompted for the subscription. It feels hard to judge whether this would be a good investment when I’m barely past Hej and Jag territory. I think this app has a lot of potential and I want it to do well, but for these reasons I don’t think I will continue with it. | |

| 2025-03-04 | Le***** | I can tell it’s a newer app as in it’s not overly flashy, but it is clean and works well and that’s all that matters I’d like to see how this works over time as I only did my first lesson and it seems to be pretty good so far | |

| 2025-02-19 | Dy***** | It’s a new app, and it’s a little underdeveloped, but everything that’s done looks great! If they add cross-device updates and make the buttons at the bottom a little more intuitive, this is a 10/10 app. Also the voice recording are better than Duolingo’s AI generated voices. | |
