Pros

Polished, visually appealing design.
Strong Apple ecosystem integration and calendar syncing.
Convenient for hosts; easy to plan and manage RSVPs within the Apple ecosystem.
Privacy-conscious feel with good media integration (photos/weather) and a clean presentation.

Cons

Requires iCloud/Apple ID and is not friendly for non-Apple guests (some reviews mention text invites requiring email).
RSVP and guest-list management is weak: hard to track who has responded, cannot easily edit RSVPs, no simple reminders or easy import/copy of lists.
Limited collaboration features: no co-hosts or multiple owners, difficult to share responsibility.
Reliability and edge case bugs: invites sometimes fail, updates don’t reach guests, album sharing can fail.
Missing features: polls, comments, hiding guest lists, flexible guest allowances, and cross-platform sharing.

Recent reviews

It seems limited, and the communication of sending the invite and messages (especially messages) is difficult to know if the message was actually sent. Also is clearly ONLY for the iPhone because the use on an iPad is sad. This app needs to be more intuitive as Apple touts to be.

I appreciate how convenient Apple Invites is and not having to use Evite or another third party app. I do wish there was a setting to send out an automatic reminder a few days before the event.
