The goal of this app is to help the user learn the skill of performing transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), by means of an 'interactive anatomy book', with a user interface emulating an echo probe and a patient. The app uses synthetic echo images based on an artificial 3-dimensional human heart model, with interactive labeling to show what anatomic structures are being displayed. This app is NOT able to actually perform a real ultrasound examination on a real patient, neither is it able to transform your device into a real ultrasound machine, nor is this app intended to provide any medical diagnostic or therapeutic guidelines whatsoever.
