I genuinely enjoy this game, which makes the progression system even more frustrating. Once your characters reach level 300, progression becomes heavily dependent on Promotion Crystals, which are primarily obtained through Blockade Breakthrough. The problem is that Blockade can become nearly impossible extremely early depending on the enemies you’re given. I’ve had one reset where I reached Stage 13, another where I was stopped much earlier, and now I’m effectively stuck at Stage 2 for the next 24 hours because the enemy team can wipe my nearly 700k CP team in a single attack. My level 300, 4-star healer can heal over 1 million HP and it doesn’t matter when characters are killed before they can be healed. The worst part is that you cannot replay previously cleared Blockade stages to earn more currency. So if you get stuck, you can’t grind to improve your characters. You need Promotion Crystals to get stronger, you need Blockade currency to get those crystals, but if Blockade decides you’re done progressing for that reset, there is essentially nothing you can do except wait. That’s not challenging progression. It’s a progression wall. Let players replay cleared stages for reduced currency, add other reliable ways to earn Promotion Crystals, or balance Blockade so difficulty increases consistently instead of depending so heavily on the enemy teams generated each reset. I want to keep playing, but being locked out of meaningful character progression for 24 hours because Stage 2 rolled an absurd enemy team makes me want to stop playing entirely. The game itself is fun. The progression system is killing it.
