User Reviews

Reviews show a mixed picture. Pros: automation and algorithmic trading are accessible to retail investors, with some users reporting ROI when investing larger sums. The platform is also noted for flexibility to copy or adapt algorithms. Cons: pricing is unclear and subscription-based, with withdrawal delays and difficulties closing accounts. Customer support is often unresponsive, and reliability is problematic with glitches and outages. Additional concerns center on transparency and control—marketing claims and fee structures that feel ambiguous or deceptive to users.
Pros
  • Automation works and makes algorithmic trading accessible to retail investors.
  • Potential ROI for larger investments.
  • Flexibility to copy or adapt other users' algorithms.
Cons
  • Unclear or steep ongoing pricing; subscription-based model and upfront deposit-related confusion.
  • Withdrawal delays or inability to access funds; difficulties closing accounts.
  • Poor customer support and limited contact options (chatbot, no phone support).
  • Reliability issues and glitches/outages affecting app performance.
  • Transparency and control concerns about marketing claims and fee structures.

Traded less than 10 times over the course of a month after transferring $30k into it. 2 times composer did not execute the change in the next change window (which is already a lag since it only happens at the end of the day). It cost me $100s. The lack of control you have over trade timing is genuinely concerning. Support is terrible and took days to reply after confirming they skipped trades. I immediately liquidated my funds and transferred out. I recommend you stay away. Too many other options out there to deal with this trash.

I don’t gamble often but when I do it’s poker not day trading. (More fun). Composer offers a place for me where I (the casual long investor) can do copycat or easily utilize AI with my own parameters, instead of institutional research departments and the fees associated with managed accounts. I m trying it for a bit to see how it goes. Lots of etf going on by AI here.
