Square Golf

I love this unit and the app, however they really need to change the camera angles of many of their courses. Their newer courses have the correct camera angles where you follow the golf ball through the air. But all of their first courses have a weird angle where you watch the ball as though you were a spectator and its super hard to know where you are on the course. Please change the camera angle of ALL your courses so that we follow the ball through the air.

Just bought the square Omni and it is incredible. The ability to purchase a launch monitor and use an iOS device is pretty groundbreaking. When I use the app, I can really feel that this is the worst the app could ever be, almost like a proof of concept beta. The one thing I would really like is logs of the driving range in Golf games, putting etc. Your numbers and games kind of go off into the ether once you exit the session. You really have to write stuff down right now in a notebook. However, complaining about this kind of feels like the Louis CK airplane joke, where you’re complaining about Wi-Fi breaking while you’re flying in an airplane. Here’s some of the good things about the app. Driving range, closest to the pin, putting practice are all free to use. The games cost one credit per hole per player and it’s $20 per 1000 credits. I love how the driving range counts the number of shots that you do. I love how the closest to the pin game will change the location of the pin every shot to give you some variety. I do really feel like this latest product is going to set up this company to make a lot of money and in turn can higher a team of software developers to make this app better. I don’t have the money or the necessary air-conditioning in the garage to run GS pro so I’m stuck with this app.
