View subtitles on your phone when you are at the cinema or at home watching your TV. You can choose your native language subtitles for a foreign movie. And you even don't need to read subtitles - you can turn on voiceover and Siri will speak subtitles for you. A must have app for hearing impaired.

Subtitles are generously provided by opensubtitles.org. It's a huge database of subtitles contributed by volunteers. Please note that subtitles are available with a varying delay after a film release.

My parents and I went to see a rewatch of Stardust which came out in 2007. My dad cannot hear at all and we usually ask for the closed caption device which helps my dad with the subtitles. But this time they said that the gadgets didn’t work cause it was “an old movie” and it did not came with closed captions. Found this app by mere luck and recommendation of google, and within less than 5 minutes my dad was able to watch the movie while the subtitles were playing on my phone! And the timing of the words to the subtitles were PERFECT!!! Tried another app previously but they didn’t have the repertoire of movies this app has. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
