Gen II app is easy to set up and workable when using the correct app, with solid WiFi monitoring giving peace of mind. However, users report persistent stability issues: repeated logins, timeouts, crashes, and update/account problems. The UI is dated and feature gaps remain (power/usage graphs, historical data, remote control, device reordering). Overall, the hardware is praised, but the app requires substantial polish and feature enhancements.

Pros

Easy setup with Gen II and improvements over Gen 1.
App works fine for Gen II when the correct app is used.
WiFi connectivity provides peace of mind while away from the rig.
Hardware/product is solid and the idea is good.

Constant login prompts and not staying logged in; login loops and password-manager issues.
Frequent timeouts, inability to connect to devices, and stability issues requiring restarts or reinstalls.
Clunky, dated UI; slow performance; poor design like the bottom power-off button.
Missing features such as power usage graphs, historical data, remote power control, and device reordering.
Update/account linkage problems; accounts getting tied to the wrong account and slow support.

Recent reviews

Frustrating. Trying to sign in, sign up, or reset password. Leave the app open to avoid these annoyances, and the app freezes on a blank page with a dog’s head. Ditch and reinstall. Doesn’t like the latest password. The device is working, but you’ll never know how.

I now have power management/surge protection for my RV that will tell me if there are any issues or failures. Yes I can see the status with Bluetooth if I’m nearby, but several miles away in storage can be problematic. Now I can see the power draw for a trickle charge while the 110v fridge is also on and staying cold. Fantastic!!!
