Apex Law Client Onboarding is an automated biometric identity verification and AML compliance app designed for secure lawyer-led client intake. It uses biometric verification, NFC-based document reads, and AI-powered checks to confirm identity and source of funds. The app supports over 9,000 government IDs from more than 190 countries, with secure handling that does not store personal data in the app or on the device after use. When invited by a lawyer, clients can verify quickly without in-person appointments.

The verification flow is streamlined: invite via text, download the app, log in with your phone number, capture documents, read the chip with NFC, scan your face, and provide bank statements through a secure Open Banking API. It delivers Open Banking features—accurate bank statements, verified funds, automated AML checks, instant PEPs and sanctions checks, and PSD2 compliance—enabling fast, objective decisions. The video-first approach enhances certainty and security while keeping data protected.
