I had gotten so good at the game years ago. Thought about it recently and was surprised it was back up. The game expands once you understand how to use the monster abilities and boosts.

The original was much more fun than Super. It had mini graphics whenever you fed a monster a condo, when you got a power-up, and a time bar for the said power-ups. Super takes all of those away. Another thing that changed is how the theme got stripped of its Japanese video game theming. The finger host changed from a sumo wrestler in makeup to a white game show host. I get that it’s from outcry of racist stereotypes because of the protests, but c’mon… that’s what made the game memorable! Overall, the characters have the same charm, cries and all. I’m happy that it’s back on the App Store! Just please bring back the Japanese Godzilla theming and the overly psychedelic feel of the early 2010s Adult Swim days.
