NHBC Standards Hub

The NEW NHBC mobile app is the perfect addition to the NHBC Standards and is the result of combining the two pre-existing apps:

• Foundation Depth Calculator - The NHBC Foundation Depth Calculator helps users identify tree species and calculate chapter 4.2 foundation depths when building near trees in a clay soil.

• NHBC 3D Viewer – The NHBC 3D Viewer takes 2D illustrations from the NHBC Standards and presents them as fully interactive and annotated 3D models. Sorted by the chapter and part of the NHBC Standards in which they appear, each 3D model supports rotation, zoom and pan functions.

The NHBC Standards Hub improves on overall usability and allows for future additions and updates to be included. Such as the intention to provide push notifications for technical updates and a fully integrated mobile version of the yearly published NHBC Standards.
