User Reviews

Room Arranger offers strong planning power, 3D visualization, and deep customization for real-world staging and remodeling. Major drawbacks include the paid save requirement, a limited item library, confusing measurement inputs, stability issues, and a learning curve. Overall, it is valuable and versatile for pre-move layouts and design exploration, provided users are willing to invest time and the save feature.
Pros
  • 3D walk-through visualization to plan layouts and see how space works.
  • Save designs (paid) and users feel the save feature is worth the cost for preserving work.
  • Extensive customization: colors, textures, Pantone colors, and the ability to upload your own images/art.
  • Clone rooms to compare configurations for different layouts.
  • Clear in-app help and responsive developer support.
Cons
  • Requires paying to save your work; free version cannot save designs.
  • Limited furniture/library; adding new items is difficult, especially on iPad.
  • Confusing dimension input: messy handling of feet/inches, apostrophes, and unit conversions.
  • Stability issues and crashes, particularly with 3D mode or texture rendering after updates.
  • Steep learning curve; not always intuitive for beginners.

Every time I chose a one room shape and entered a second dimension it would auto adjust all of the other dimensions.

It’s as intuitive as it needs to be for someone who is comfortable with technology. I like that the info button in the bottom corner labels what all the options mean. I was able to find furniture that reasonably matched my decor and edit the sizes, choose if I wanted doors open or closed, clone rooms so I could compare configurations, and even uploaded some personal art to the space. Really a great tool for my simple needs. I’ve used this app through several moves and am always glad I did!
