User Reviews

Reviewers praise Morolingo for its easy-to-use interface and contextual, conversation-based learning with natural audio. However, recurring drawbacks include reliance on transliteration instead of Arabic script, monetization gates (hearts/premium), a pace that’s too fast for beginners, cross-device subscription issues, and no offline mode.
Pros
  • Easy to use and approachable UI.
  • Context-rich, conversation-based lessons with natural-sounding audio that aid retention.
  • Practical focus on real-life Darija communication and everyday dialogue.
Cons
  • Lack of Arabic script in favor of transliteration (Latin text), with multiple reviews calling for the Arabic alphabet.
  • Monetization gating: heart system and premium unlocks restrict access to quizzes/lessons.
  • Pace jumps from beginner to intermediate are too fast for new learners.
  • Cross-device subscription/purchase issues (e.g., membership not syncing across iPhone/iPad).
  • No offline mode, limiting use without an internet connection.

Good to use. Only thing that would be better is if they actually used the Arabic alphabet instead of the text message based writing style. Personally I can’t stand this type of writing and it makes it actually harder, especially since I can read Arabic.
